METRO manufacture specialized alloys for railway industry for both Electrification and locomotives application. 

The Cupro-aluminium material has proven it has an outdoors life span of decades as its tendency of oxidation is very low and has very high mechanical and electrical characteristics. Requirement for locomotives is high mechanical and electrical characteristics of Cupro-aluminium which has proved to have excellent resistance to vibration and shock. this are mainly used as support for carbon contacts, electrical contacts etc.

Copper Nickel Silicon is used where major mechanical resistance is needed while pure copper is used where the best conductivity is required. Thanks to ongoing R&D and inputs from the clients, METRO is able to meet tomorrow's demand today.
